Be the scuba diver everyone want to follow because you know where you are and where you are going. The PADI Underwater Navigator course fine-tunes your observation skills and teaches you more accurate use of your compass underwater.

To enroll in a PADI Underwater Navigoar class, you must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization). This specialty also counts towards your Master Scuba Diver certification.

What Will You Learn?
In the underwater Navigation Course, you will learn to navigate using natural clues and by following compass headings. During three scuba dives, you will practice:
- Methods to estimate distance underwater
- Compass navigation while making at least five turns.
- Marking or relocating a submerged object or position form the surface.
- Underwater map making.
How Can You Start Learning Now?
Visit Aquatic Dreams Scuba Center to enroll in the course and get your PADI Underwater Navigation Crewpak. By reading the manual and watching the video before class, you will be ready to meet with your PADI instructor.
What Scuba Gear Will You Use?
Besides your basic scuba equipment, you will need a compass and underwater slate. Your PADI Instructor or staff may suggest other gear to help you stay oriented, such as marker buoys or lines and reels.
