Getting To Know Your Dive Shop Staff!

AquaticDreamsDaveWagnerHello!  So why is it important to get to know your dive shop staff?  Well the answer is very simple, yet so complicated.  When you first walk into a dive shop, you might have a clue about what you want or you know exactly what you want because you read about it on a website.  But really getting to know your dive shop staff is more then just a friendly smile or a pay and leave thing.  At Aquatic Dreams Scuba Center, we try to get to know you as more then a customer because we think of everyone in the dive community as family. 

Here are some good points to think about when getting to know your staff.  Many people in the dive industry take the time to research and or buy equipment to test out so we can give you first hand knowledge of the items.  As for myself, I have spent countless hours researching the equipment that we carry as our product lines.  I have extensive knowledge of some products and if I can't answer your question, I am sure someone within our staff can!  Most dive shop staff have a favorite brand they like.  I dive a Hollis SMS 75 sidemount system and a Diverite Nomad Sidemount rig, but I use Scubapro regulators and an Aqualung drysuit.  With using a variety of items, I can answer questions about these because they are what I use.  Also at Aquatic Dreams, we take training very serious and cut ZERO corners!  While our prices might or might not be on par with others, we have NO hidden costs and QUALITY training.  You have heard the quote, "You get what you paid for"?  We make sure you get what you paid for and then some. 

When visiting our shop, you can rest assured our techs are factory trained and certified.  We have invested in state of the art equipment for regulator and computer repair as well as visual inspections and hydrostatic testing.  Did I mention we do not cut corners?  We do in-house hydro testing, visual inspection, regulator repairs and most battery changes as well.  If we can't do it, we send it back to the manufacturer or factory certified technicians that specialize in the product (not to many things go outside of our shop for repair though).
